Joseph Louis Debrosse Officer Of Civil Status. According to family accounts, he campaigned for Ayiti’s presidency but wasn’t favored at the time. He was born on the 25th of August 1858  and transitioned on the 5th of October 1922, in Gonaïves, Artibonite, in Ayiti. His father was Charles William Debrosse, and his mother was born Marthe Elizabeth Edelmonde Mitton.  Both were natives of Gonaïves. Besides him, his parents had 6 other children. 

 

Joseph married  Marie Michel Amelie Dorval and had 10 children with her. One of these children was Pacome Demosthene Debrosse (1892-1963), which is my Great grandfather. Pacome being the father of my grandfather Louis Lovinsky Debrosse, the father of my mother Micheline Debrosse.
